DENVER, CO — RxAssurance Corporation is expanding into California with two new healthcare customers and connectivity to the state’s prescription drug monitoring program, CURES.

RxAssurance is now connected to the California Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES) and is listed by the State of California as a PDMP integration vendor, enabling participating healthcare organizations to incorporate prescription monitoring information into clinical workflows through OpiSafe™ and the RxAdvisor™ Medication Management Platform.

The company has signed agreements with Alameda County Health and BlueStone Health and Wellness to provide OpiSafe medication management capabilities to their clinical users. BlueStone is anticipated to go live on October 1, 2026, followed by Alameda County Health on December 1, 2026.

The two agreements establish RxAssurance’s initial customer presence in California and create a foundation for further expansion in one of the nation’s largest healthcare markets.

Gateway went live with OpiSafe on April 1, 2026, using the platform to support safer opioid and other controlled-substance prescribing, monitoring, and medication management. As an RxAssurance Innovation Partner, Gateway will work closely with the company as it expands use of the platform’s capabilities over the coming year.
